Privacy Policy
Effective September 14, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Mikihana ("Mikihana", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use mikihana.order.appsova.com (the "Site"), our online ordering site. By using the Site you agree to this policy. The Site is hosted and operated for us by Seven Seconds Agency LLC through its Sova online ordering platform, which processes personal information on our behalf and under our instructions.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order we ask for your name, phone number and email address, and we record what you ordered, when, and the pickup location. If you tick the marketing box at checkout we record that choice.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us or by Seven Seconds Agency LLC; we receive only what we need to run the order — such as the card brand, the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded. Stripe's handling of your data is described in its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site records basic technical information — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and when — to keep the service secure and working, and it uses error-monitoring tools so we can fix problems. The Site uses only the cookies and local storage it needs to keep your cart and complete your order. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- prepare your order and let you know when it is ready
- send order confirmations and receipts by email
- answer your questions and resolve problems with an order
- prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents
- comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations
- understand how the Site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it
- send marketing emails, but only if you opted in — every one carries an unsubscribe link
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
3. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the Site, each of them bound to use it solely for that purpose:
- Seven Seconds Agency LLC, whose Sova platform hosts the Site and processes orders for us, together with the database hosting, email delivery and error-monitoring services it uses
- Stripe, which processes payments
- the email marketing service we use to send marketing emails, only if you opted in
- professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it
We may also share information if Mikihana is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
4. How long we keep information
We keep order records, including your contact details and what you bought, for as long as we need them to fulfil the order, handle any dispute or refund, and meet tax and accounting rules. We keep your marketing preference until you unsubscribe, and the fact that you unsubscribed so we honour it. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
5. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any of them. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to receive a copy of it, or to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, email us at automations@the7seconds.com; we may need to verify your identity first, and we will never treat you differently for making a request. Some information — such as records of completed orders — may have to be kept for legal reasons even after a deletion request.
6. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We and our service providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Links to other sites
The Site may link to third-party websites or social media. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect is the one published on the Site with its effective date. If a change is significant we will make it clear on the Site.
